Questions about the Applied AI Fellowship
When are classes?
Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), hybrid: join online or at a DIT centre, so you can learn without disrupting work.
Are sessions recorded?
Yes. Every live session is recorded, usually within 24 hours, with lifetime access. Mentors can help you catch up if you miss one.
I'm not technical. Can I join?
Yes. The fellowship is built for non-coders; you build with no-code tools.
How much time does it take each week?
About 10–12 hours: 6 hours of live weekend sessions plus 4–6 hours of assignments and project work.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. When you complete the programme and submit your capstone, you receive DIT's Professional AI Certification at the graduation ceremony.
What does private mentoring include?
Individual guidance, feedback on your own projects and help applying AI to your work or business. Private mentoring is led by Ali Mehdi Hemani, with DIT's trainers and mentors. The mentoring schedule is agreed with your cohort.
Is the ₹5,000 reservation an extra fee?
No. It's the first part of your full programme fee. You pay it only after you've been accepted, and the remaining balance is split into four interest-free instalments over the first 8 weeks of your cohort.
Is there card EMI?
Yes, separately from DIT's own instalment plan. No-cost EMI is available on eligible credit cards and select eligible debit cards, subject to bank approval and the offers shown at checkout. Your bank may charge a processing fee, plus GST on that fee.
What if I miss a class?
Every live session is recorded, usually within 24 hours, so you can catch up. Your mentor can help you with anything you missed.
Do I need to do the bootcamp or a workshop first?
No. You can apply directly. The free AI 101 workshop and the two-day bootcamp are separate programmes, not prerequisites.
How is this different from the bootcamp?
The bootcamp is two intensive days. The fellowship is 12 weeks of depth: real projects, private mentoring, a capstone, Demo Day and certification.
