What your child creates

Core: every child

  • One creative project of their own

An illustrated story, a simple game or a small website: they choose one and build it with guidance, week by week.

  • A short showcase presentation

They explain what they made, the decisions behind it, and how they checked the AI's help.

  • A question-and-checking toolkit

Their own list of good questions to ask AI, and simple habits for checking whether an answer is right.

Optional explorations, as time and interest allow

  • Visuals for their project

Illustrations, covers or scenes made with an image tool, then edited by them.

  • An extra game level or page

Stretching the core project further for children who move quickly.

  • A fictional character

Inventing a character with a personality, backstory and written voice. No real voices, faces or personal data.

  • A team idea pitch

Working in a small team to describe an idea that solves a problem they care about.

Children work at different speeds. Everyone completes and presents a core project; we don't promise that every child will master every tool or finish every exploration in a month.

Reasoning

Testing an AI answer against what they know and other sources, and spotting when it's wrong.

Creativity

Using AI to explore ideas, then making the choices that make the work their own.

Problem-solving

Breaking a project into steps, getting unstuck, and improving it after feedback.

Communication

Explaining their project clearly and confidently, to a group and to their parents.

The four-week journey

Guided activities, one week at a time.

  1. Week 1

Understanding AI, its limits and checking information

    • What AI is (and isn't), explained without jargon
    • Spot-the-mistake challenges: when AI sounds sure but is wrong
    • Checking an answer against a trusted source

They make: Their question-and-checking toolkit, first version

  2. Week 2

Better questions, responsible learning support and presentations

    • Asking AI to explain, quiz and give feedback, rather than do the work
    • What schools expect when you use AI, and being open about it
    • Planning a presentation in their own words

They make: A short presentation on a topic they choose

  3. Week 3

    Building a creative project

    • Choosing a story, simple game or website and planning it
    • Guided build sessions, with the trainer reviewing progress
    • Optional explorations for children who want to go further

They make: A working first version of their project

  4. Week 4

Improving the project and presenting it

    • Feedback from trainers and classmates, then revising
    • Rehearsing how to explain what they built and how
    • The final showcase

They make: A finished project, presented at the showcase

Responsible AI, privacy & honesty

Safe habits, built in from the first class.

Understanding before using

Children learn what AI is, how it works and where its limits are before they rely on it.

Responsibility before speed

Checking facts, protecting privacy and being honest about AI help are part of every class.

Creating, not just consuming

Each week ends with something they made. Confidence comes from doing, not watching.

  • Under 13: any ChatGPT use is done by the trainer or another adult on a shared screen. Your child does not need, and should not create, a personal account.
  • Ages 13 and over: AI tools are used only with your permission, and only tools whose current terms allow your child's age.
  • No personal voice recordings, face photos or identity details are uploaded to cloning or avatar tools.
  • Children are taught not to share personal information with AI tools.
  • AI is a study helper, not a ghostwriter: school work follows the school's own rules, and AI help is disclosed.
  • Photos and videos of children are only shared with their parents' permission.

For parents

What you need to know.

Laptop and internetA laptop or desktop with a webcam and microphone; a tablet or phone isn't enough for the project work. A stable internet connection good enough for live video.
Live teaching, online or offlineEvery class is taught live: 3 classes a week for 1 month, online or offline. The fee is the same for both.
Progress and feedbackTrainers give project feedback in class. Parents get progress updates in the batch's WhatsApp group, through the DIT app and on the website, and can ask about their child's progress at any time.
The final showcaseChildren present their projects at the end of the month. Parents are invited to attend where the batch format allows.

Ideas and teamwork

In the optional team pitch, children practise describing an idea, working together and explaining their thinking. It's about creativity and communication; there are no earnings targets, and children are never asked to contact strangers or find clients.

Fee

₹10,000 + GST

₹11,800 including GST, for the full month. Same fee online or offline.
